Iranian Girl Recites Quran in Moscow
Khalfi, who has been invited to Moscow by the Shia society of Russia, recited verses from the Holy Quran at the Grand Mosque of Moscow on Monday, the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations (ICRO) reported.
She also answered religious and Quranic questions raised by the worshippers at the mosque.
Earlier, Khalfi attended Quran recitation sessions in the Russian Republic of Dagestan and her recitations were warmly received by Muslims there.
Hannaneh Khalfi started memorizing the entire Quran at the age of 4 and soon became the youngest female Quran memorizer in Iran.
She has also learned Quran recitation with a number of top masters and recites the Quran in late Egyptian Qari Master Minshawi's style.
Iranian expert on the Holy Quran recitation Mohammad-Hossein Sabazali says Hannaneh is a genius.
She has been invited to different countries to perform.
Three other members of her family are also memorizers of the Holy Book.
