Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Morteza Razavi, who is the founder and prayer leader of Imam Reza (AS) Mosque in Madagascar’s capital of Antananarivo, said planning is underway for best organizing the program.

He hoped that it would help to introduce Imam Sajjad’s (AS) Seerah, virtues and character as well as his invaluable works, Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya and Risalat al-Huquq.

Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya is a book of supplications by Imam Sajjad (AS) that describes the relationship between man and God.

The Imam’s Risalat al-Huquq (Treatise on Rights) elaborates on a well-known saying of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and contains over 50 duties of any individual toward others.

Hojat-ol-Islam Razavi noted that the program in Madagascar will be part of the sidelines activities of the 6th Imam Sajjad (AS) International Congress.

Madagascar is a huge island nation off the southeast coast of Africa.

Islam has been well established in what is now known as Madagascar for centuries and today Muslims represent some 7 percent of the population.
