Specialized Quranic Courses Held in Scotland
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The London-based branch of the Holy Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas’ (AS) holy shrine organized specialized Quranic courses in Glasgow, Scotland.
According to Al-Kafeel website, the main objective of the courses is to promote the Quranic culture among Muslim minorities in European societies.
The Ahlul Bayt (AS) Society in Glasgow cooperated with the center in holding the specialized courses.
According to Sheikh Ziauddin Al Majid Al-Zubaidi, the representative of the Astan in the educational program, the closing ceremony of the courses was held with the participation of Muhammad Al-Muzaffar, the director of the center’s branch and Muhammad Yusuf, the president of the society.
Those who took the courses were granted certificates and Quran experts who taught the courses were honored at the ceremony.
