Ten Injured in Roof Collapse Incidents in Pakistan’s Lahore

TEHRAN (IQNA) – At least 10 persons were injured in two roof collapse incidents due to heavy rain in the Pakistani city of Lahore on Friday.

 

In the first incident, eight persons including five children were injured when the roof of a mosque collapsed at Model Town Link Road during heavy rain. 

According to Rescue 1122 spokesman, the persons were buried under the debris when the roof of Tauheed Masjid collapsed at Government Employees Housing Society, Model Town Link Road.   

The Rescue 1122 teams reached the site and pulled the injured person from under the debris. The rescuers gave first aid and shifted them to Ittefaq Hospital Lahore. 

In the second incident, two persons were injured when the wall of Karimia Masjid at Goal Chakkar Chauburgi collapsed during rain. 

Rescuers reached the spot and shifted the injured persons to Mayo Hospital for treatment.
