Quran Memorization Course for Women Underway in Karbala
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Quran Teaching Section of the Women Religious Dissemination Center at the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine in Karbala has organized an advanced course on Quran memorization for women.
According to the website of the Astan, it is the fifth year the summer Quranic course, titled “Seyyedeh Fizzah”, is held at the holy shrine.
According to the director of the section, various other Quran memorization programs have also been planned to be implemented for women during the summer.
The programs include courses on Quran interpretation and contemplation, principles of Quran reading, Quran recitation styles and a workshop on Quranic artworks.
More than 200 women from Karbala province have participated in this year’s course.
