Iran’s Representative Showcases Quranic Talents in Dubai Int’l Contest

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s Zeynab Feyzi was among the contenders who went on the stage on the third day of the Dubai international Quran competition for women.

 

Other competitors on Monday were from Mauritania, Oman, Britain, the Philippines, Tanzania, Mali, Morocco, Indonesia, Egypt, Russia (Dagestan), and Burundi.

The 8-year-old Iranian has travelled to Dubai with her mother.

The 4th edition of the international Quran competition for women in Dubai, titled Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, got underway on Saturday.

Representatives of 68 countries are competing in this edition of the international Quran contest, which started on Saturday.

The three top winners will be respectively awarded 250000, 200000 and 150000 Emirati dirhams, according to the organizers.
