Quran Copies Gifted to Pakistani Seminary

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian Cultural Center in Karachi, Pakistan, gifted some copies of the Holy Quran to a Quranic center, seminary and Al-Mustafa University branch in the city.

 

 

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the center gifted the 200 Quran copies on the occasion of the 27th Iranian Book Week in Karachi.

Beit Fatima Quranic Center for Women, Jamia Al-Athar Seminary and the Quranic Section of Al-Mustafa International University’s branch in Karachi received the Qurans.

A book exhibition was also held on the occasion on November 20 and 21 at Imam Khomeini (RA) University of Karachi showcasing 300 Iranian books on religious and cultural issues as well as the Persian language.

The two-day exhibition was received well by the university’s teachers and students.

Bahram Kian, the Iranian cultural representative in Karachi thanked the officials of the Imam Khomeini (RA) University and Al-Mustafa International University who cooperated in holding the exhibition.

The Iranian Cultural Center also gifted 300 books in the week to the Islamic Studies Faculty of Karachi University, the Persian Language Department of the university, seminary of Imam Khomeini (RA) University and Al-Mustafa International University.
