People in New Delhi Condemn General Soleimani Assassination, Burn Trump Photo

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A rally was held in India’s capital of New Delhi on Tuesday morning to condemn the recent assassination of Iranian commander General Qassem Soleimani.

According to Al- Jazeera, the demonstrators carried photos of Martyr Soleimani, Leader of the islamci Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and Iraqi top Shia cleric Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani.

They chanted slogans against US crimes and set photos of US President Donald Trump on fire.

Trump ordered a US drone strike early Friday on General Soleimani’s motorcade upon his arrival in the Iraqi capital at the invitation of the Baghdad government.

General Soleimani, deputy head of Iraq’s Hashd al-Shaabi Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and a number of their entourage were killed in the strike.
