‘Quranic Guidance’ Int’l Forum Underway in Sudan
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international forum titled “Guidance of God in the Holy Quran” has been underway at the International University of Africa in Khartoum, capital of Sudan, since January 9.
According to Al-Bayan news website, the Quran Faculty of the university has organized the forum in cooperation with Umm Al-Qura University of the holy city of Mecca.
A number of researchers, intellectuals and experts from Islamic countries have participated at the international event.
The opening ceremony of the forum was addressed by Yahia Al-Zamzami, head of the Quranic Guidance Department of Umm Al-Qura University.
He thanked the African university for its cooperation in holding the academic forum and stressed the need for developing the mutual cooperation of the two universities.
