TEHRAN (IQNA) – The first stage of a national examination for granting certificates to memorizers of the Quran in Iran will be held on July 31.

The exam had been scheduled for this Friday, July 17, but was postponed by the organizer, the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization.

Mohammad Ramezanifard, an official with the organization, said that it will be held in 81 locations across the country.

The health protocols should be fully observed during the exam, he underlined, adding that those who fail to do so, for example by not wearing a face mask, will not be allowed to take the examination.
