The province’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Department will host the contest in both men and women sections.
A total of 170 contenders will compete in different categories, including Quran memorization (at different levels), recitation, Adhan (call to prayer) and Tarteel.
The first stage of the competition was held in July with the participation of more than 500 individuals.
Winners of the final round will make it to the national Quran competition, which is planned to be held in the northeastern holy city of Mashhad.
