Astan of Hazrat Abbas Holy Shrine Publishes Quranic Encyclopedia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Islamic Sciences Department of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine in Karbala, Iraq, published a Quranic encyclopedia.
The three-volume compilation has various entries related to the interpretation of Surahs of the Quran, Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in the Quran, revelation, virtues of the Quran, Quranic sciences, etc, Sheikh Ali al-Assadi, director of the department, said.
It was compiled given the need for such a Quranic work in the Arab world libraries, he noted.
Al-Assadi added that the book can help researchers and Quran scholars in their Quranic studies.
The Quranic encyclopedia has been compiled by Sayed Ahmad Husseini Eshkevari.
