Committee Planned in Bahrain to Oversee Quranic Activities
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A committee is planned to be formed in Bahrain to oversee Quranic activities in the country.
The committee will be established by Bahrain’s Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf, BNA reported.
It will supervise the activities of Quran memorization centers and manage Quranic teaching courses.
Introducing regulations for activities at Quranic education centers, deciding the dates of Quranic examinations and competitions, and overseeing the budget distribution and spending at the centers are among other tasks of the committee.
It will present periodic reports of its activities and decisions to the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs.
