Quran Recitation Session Held in Mashhad
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran recitation session was held in the holy city of Mashhad, northeast Iran, on Saturday night.
Organized in commemoration of Iranian martyred commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, it was attended by a number of young and teenage Quran reciters.
The Nokhodberiz’ha Hosseinya (religious center) hosted the Quranic event.
The Quran recitation program is weekly held at the center on Saturdays.
On January 3, the US assassinated top Iranian anti-terror commander Qassem Soleimani and senior Hashd al-Sha’abi commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, in addition to several other comrades, outside the Baghdad airport.
