TEHRAN (IQNA) – Children will be allowed to pray inside mosques I Qatar from Saturday, January 29, as part of the easing of COVID-19 precautionary measures in the country.

Qatar’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs issued a statement details the measures in mosques to curb the COVID-19 pandemic.
It also requested all people who suffer from cold, cough and high temperature to kindly not attend the mosque.
The measures are as follows:
- The distance between the worshippers for daily and Friday prayers is the size of the prayer mat (a physical distance of half a meter).
- Maintaining 1-meter distance during Friday sermon
- Opening toilets and ablutions in previously specified mosques
- Allow children to enter.
The ministry urged all mosque-goers to adhere to and abide by the precautionary controls and procedures, in order to ensure the safety of worshipers and members of society, which are:
