Iranian Quran Expert Serving as Member of Judging Panel in Bangladesh Contest
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian Quran master Mohammad Mehdi Bahrololum has been invited to serve as a member of panel of judges in a Quran competition in Bangladesh.
The Quranic event is being held in the South Asian country by the TV channel RTV.
The competition on memorization of the Holy Quran is being recorded and will be broadcast on the TV channel during the holy month of Ramadan (April).
Bahrololum told IQNA that the organizers had requested the participation of a Quran expert from Iran via the Iranian Cultural Center in Dhaka.
He said this is the final stage of the competition with the participation of 30 top contenders in the preliminary stage, which was held in various provinces of the country.
He noted that a Quran expert from Egypt named Sayed Mohamed Ali Rashed is the other foreigner serving in the panel of judges.
