TEHRAN (IQNA) – The pavilion of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine at the 29th Tehran International Quran Exhibition is displaying its Quranic activities in different parts of the world via posters.

Sayyed Qassim al-Battat

Sayyed Qassim al-Battat, who is in charge of the pavilion, told IQNA that the posters show the activities of the Astan’s Quranic Tabligh (propagation) Center and its Dar-ol-Quran Center.

They include holding Quran teachers training courses in Indonesia, Quranic circles in Pakistan and Southeast Asia, the international Quran exhibition in Karbala, and Quranic programs in African countries, he noted.

There are also Quranic courses for the visually-impaired, a Quranic plan for seminary students, training Quran memorizers, Quranic courses for inmates, and an international Quran conference, he added.

According to Battat, the pavilion is also presenting some of the publications of the Astan’s Dar-ol-Quran Center, such as a Quran exegesis, the book “Virtues of Surahs of Quran” and “Murshid Al-Hafiz” (guide for memorizers).

He went on to say that visitors to the pavilion can register their name for a draw that will be held at the closing ceremony of the expo to determine two winners who will be gifted blessed flags of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS).
