Int’l Conference of ‘Translation Campaign and Promoting Sacred Defense Concepts’ Planned in Malayer

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The city of Malayer in Iran’s western province of Hamedan will play host to an international conference of translation campaign and promotion of value concepts of the Sacred Defense.

Mehdi Zafari, director of the Hamedan department of preservation and promotion of Sacred Defense values, said cultural figures from 20 countries will take part at the conference.

He said the event will be organized in line with efforts to implement Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s statements about the need for exporting the values of the Sacred Defense and the Islamic Revolution.

Zafar added that the conference will help to spread the culture of the Sacred Defense in other countries as well.

According to the official, a number of books in the Sacred Defense genre will be introduced at the international gathering.

In Iran, the Iraqi-imposed war on Iran that started in 1980 and lasted for eight years is known as the Sacred Defense.
