TEHRAN (IQNA) – Saudi authorities say Umrah reservations for the last 10 days of Ramadan are now available via Nusuk and Tawakkalna apps.

The reservations are available for Umrah through the Nusuk app, and Tawakkalna app, the ministry stated on its official Twitter account.

Pilgrims must perform Umrah sticking to the time and date specified in the permit in the Nusuk app.

Nusuk, previously called Eatmarna, is the Kingdom’s official platform to plan both Hajj and Umrah and organize the whole trip from submitting an application for an eVisa to booking accommodation and flights.

The permits for this year's Umrah were available via Nusuk as of early March.

In the latest raft of visa reforms, Saudi Arabia announced in early March that residents in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can now attain a Saudi tourist visa regardless of their profession.

This decision also makes these visitors eligible to apply to perform Umrah since the Kingdom announced last year that all people visiting the country can perform Umrah regardless of their visa type.
