1,000 Quran Memorizers to Graduate from Gaza Dar-ol-Quran Center
Bilal Imad said with the beginning of summer holidays, Quranic memorization activities have increased significantly at the center and those learning the Quran by heart have intensified their efforts as they have more time to devote to memorization.
He noted that some of the learners now have twice the time they had before to devote to memorization, al-Risalah news website reported.
Plans are underway to help the students make the most of their spare time in the summer, Imad said.
He urged the people of the Gaza Strip to seize the opportunity and send their children to Quranic centers during the summer holidays.
He also noted that in addition to memorization, the Dar-ol-Quran and Sunnah has launched Quranic courses in the fields of recitation and Lahn.
There are also online Quranic courses organized by the center with the participation of learners from other countries, he went on to say.
Despite the years-long blockade of the Gaza Strip and several wars imposed on the coastal enclave by the Zionist regime, Quranic activities, including Quranic courses, competitions and other programs, are very common there.
