Yemenis Hold Milad-un-Nabi Celebration on Seized Israeli Vessel

IQNA – The Yemeni popular movement Ansarullah has released videos and photos of celebrations marking the holy Prophet’s (PBUH) birth anniversary held on the deck of an Israeli vessel.

The ship, Galaxy Leader, owned by an Israeli merchant, has been seized by Yemeni forces in solidarity with the oppressed people of the Gaza Strip, who have been facing a genocidal war by the Zionist regime for nearly a year.

The footage and photos released by Ansarullah show the ship decorated with green lights, Al-Masirah reported.

It comes as cities across Yemen have been decorated in celebration for Milad-un-Nabi.

Galaxy Leader was confiscated by Yemeni armed forces in the Red Sea on November 20, 2023.

The 25 crew members of the vessel were also detained by the Yemeni forces.

Back then, Ansarullah released footage showing its forces dropping from a military helicopter onto the deck of the Israeli ship following a monitoring and control operation.

The Israeli regime claimed the vessel does not belong to it but later evidence refuted the claim.

Since October 7, when the Israeli regime started its war on the Gaza Strip, Yemeni armed forces have conducted several operations against the occupied territories, pledging to keep up their strikes as long as the regime continues its ongoing war on the territory.
