Speaking at the opening session of the parliament on Tuesday morning, he congratulated the Iranian people, especially those living in Tehran, on the birth anniversary of the revered figure.
“We at the capital of the Islamic country, Tehran, are proud that we have a refuge like the Astan (holy shrine) of Hazrat Abdul Azim (AS),” he said.
Ghalibaf also stated that as Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has said, honoring Hazrat Abul Azim (AS) is honoring knowledge, Jihad, piety and God-fearing.
