In a message to the 31st edition of the national prayers congress, the Leader offered recommendations about Salah, including the need to perform it Awwal Waqt (on the start of the time of Salah).
“My strong recommendation is, firstly, to perform prayers on time, and secondly, to strive to maintain focus and heartfelt presence during prayer,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
“The worshiper should be aware that they are speaking to an audience that is the Owner of the entire universe and the Sovereign of the Day of Resurrection.”
The Leader added, “Prayer, with these two qualities, impacts the heart and soul of the worshiper, and subsequently influences their personal and social actions. Young people are particularly the audience for this advice. I hope that divine grace will be with them.”
In his message, Ayatollah Khamenei also hailed the continued organization of the national prayers congress over the years, appreciating the efforts of Hojat-ol-Islam Mohsen Qara’ati, head of Iran’s Headquarters for Upholding Prayers, in this regard.
The Leader expressed hope that the blessings of the congress will continue.
