The exhibition was held on Wednesday in collaboration with the Ibn Bawab Islamic Arts Institute of Iraq.
It showcased handwritten copies of the Quran to the public, Mawazin News website reported.
The exhibition featured a collection of remarkable handwritten Qurans, penned by calligraphers from various governorates of Iraq.
Qasem Al-Sudani, the Iraqi deputy minister of culture for artistic affairs, said the aim of this event was to showcase the creativity of calligraphers from various governorates of the country in writing the Holy Quran.
This is the third exhibition organized by the ministry of culture as part of the National Quran Week programs, he said.

Al-Sudani added that the ministry will continue its efforts to promote the art of Arabic calligraphy and showcase the creativity of Iraqi calligraphers in the future.
Quranic activities have significantly developed in Iraq since the 2003 overthrow of former dictator Saddam Hussein.
There has been a growing trend of Quranic programs such as competitions, recitation sessions, exhibitions and educational programs held in the country in recent years.
