IQNA – An online Quran reading program for women is held in Thailand every day during the holy month of Ramadan.

Holy Quran

The Mehr Quran Institute organizes the Quranic event in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Bangkok.

It includes reading one Juz (part) of the Holy Book every day, after which interpretation points are given about the verses in that Juz.

The online sessions are held daily at 11 AM with the aim of promoting Quranic knowledge and increasing familiarity with divine concepts in everyday life.

Ms Mirzaei, who is a memorizer of the Quran, offers the Quran interpretation lessons.

She uses interpretations of the Quran to explain the educational, ethical, and doctrinal concepts and messages of each Juz, aiming to familiarize the audience with the profound meanings of the divine words.

The attendance at these sessions is increasing every day, with more women joining the program and this widespread interest reflects its impact.

Ramadan is the ninth and most sacred month of the Islamic calendar, in which Muslims commemorate the revelation of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, refraining from eating, drinking, and smoking.

They also devote more time to prayer, charity and good deeds, seeking to strengthen their faith and purify their souls.

One of the practices of Ramadan is to recite and study the Quran with some Muslims completing the reading of the entire Quran during the month.
