IQNA – The head of Iran’s Dar-ol-Quran al-Karim Organization described the confrontation between the truth and falsehood as permanent and said triumph in this battle demands patience and perseverance.

 Head of Iran’s Dar-ol-Quran al-Karim Organization Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Taghizadeh

“Victory demands patience, perseverance, and enduring hardships until divine aid arrives, for divine victory is not easily attained.” Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Taghizadeh said.

He made the remark in the second emergency meeting of Iranian Quranic activists, focusing on the Zionist regime’s aggression against the country.

It was held virtually on Wednesday evening and included discussing what role Quranic activists can play in the current situation.

In his address, Taghizadeh posed the question, “What is our ideal and objective in the current era?”

H said Almighty God has mentioned this three times in the Holy Quran, including in Verse 33 of Surah At-Tawbah, which says: ‘It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religions, even if the polytheists dislike it.”

He said the mission of the Prophet (PBUH) was to establish the true religion universally. “Thus, our aim is to raise the banner of Allah’s way of life and unify the world under monotheism.”

He added that to realize the true religion, “we must begin with invitation (da’wah). The Almighty sent messengers for this purpose, but as soon as they began calling to the truth, opposing factions emerged—even resisting the Prophet’s (PBUH) prayers. The early days of prophethood are described in Surah Al-Anfal (Verse 26): ‘And remember when you were few and oppressed in the land, fearing that people would abduct you, but He sheltered you, supported you with His victory, and provided you with good things—so that you might be grateful.’ In the early days of Islam, the believers were so few that they feared being captured by the polytheists. Even when lacking power or governance, tyrants will try to silence the call to truth. Thus, conflict on this path is inevitable.”

Hojat-ol-Islam Taghizadeh further said when a nation overcomes weakness and stands firm in the divine path, opposition intensifies.

“In Surah Al-Hashr, Allah describes two groups—one willingly offering their wealth and land to support the religion. Similarly, during the Islamic Revolution, the people sacrificed everything for victory. Once power is established, the call to faith expands globally.”

The head of the Dar-ol-Quran al-Karim Organization emphasized that global da’wah invites severe confrontations, citing Verse 120 of Surah Al-Baqarah: “Never will the Jews or Christians be pleased with you until you follow their way.”

He explained, “They demand we abandon our identity and adopt their way of life—what the Leader of the Islamic Revolution calls ‘identity erosion’. Thus, there is no escape from combat in this struggle.”

Posing the question what necessitates combat, Taghizadeh said, “The root of sedition lies with those who seek destruction. Verse 9 of Surah Al-Mumtahanah outlines the traits of those we must confront: (1) They fight against religion, (2) expel believers from their homes, and (3) support such oppression. We do not consider China, Russia, or other non-Muslim nations as primary enemies because they do not wage ‘war against faith’ or seek our identity’s erasure.”

Taghizadeh stressed that Quranic verses highlight the fluctuating nature of this battle, noting that all conflicts are defensive and arise from the call to truth. Referencing Verse 139 of Surah Al-Imran, he said, “In the Battle of Badr, Muslims triumphed, but in Uhud, disobedience led to losses and psychological strain—some even abandoned the fight. Today, despite challenges, Allah commands believers: ‘Do not weaken or grieve; if you are true believers, you will prevail.’”

He urged a long-term perspective. “Compare the past 40 years—where the enemies stood then versus now, and where we were versus today. We now stand at the brink of a global order shift, with all arrogance on one side and all truth on ours.”

Taghizadeh explained that these struggles carry divine wisdom, including the emergence of witnesses to truth—martyrs like Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and Lt. General Qassem Soleimani.

“The essence is that in this global movement initiated by Imam Khomeini (RA), we will face severe trials. Victory demands patience, perseverance, and enduring hardships until divine aid arrives—for divine victory is not easily attained.”
