Egypt’s Al-Azhar Launches Quran Teaching App

IQNA – A Holy Quran teaching app was launched with the efforts of Al-Azhar affiliated centers in Egypt with the aim of serving the Holy Book.

According to the Newsroom website, this application, titled ‘Electronic Quran Reciter’, was developed with the support of Al-Azhar Chief Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb and under the supervision of Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al-Duwaini, Al-Azhar’s deputy, in line with the Islamic center’s efforts to benefit from new technologies with the aim of serving the Quran and teaching it.

A group of programming experts from Al-Azhar affiliated institutions have developed this application, which is specifically designed to facilitate the correct recitation of the Holy Quran for students and teachers.

The General Directorate of Quran Affairs at Al-Azhar has conducted a technical review of the application to ensure accuracy in recitation, correct content, and compliance with the rules of Tajweed.

The application is an effective educational tool that helps support the process of teaching the Holy Quran inside and outside Al-Azhar institutions by providing the conditions for correct and clear recitation of the Holy Quran.
