New Branches of Quran School Launched in Egypt

IQNA – The Center for the Development of Education for Foreign Students at Egypt’s Al-Azhar Islamic University announced the opening of two new branches of the Imam el-Tayeb Quran Memorization and Recitation School in the country.

Imam el-Tayeb Quran Memorization and Recitation School affiliated with Egypt’s Al-Azhar Islamic University.

 

The center said one of the branches was launched in Nasr City and the other at the Islamic Research City.

These branches were opened with the aim of developing a Quranic educational environment for foreign students, updating curricula and benefiting from digital technologies, it stated.

The move has been taken in line with the Al-Azhar chief’s emphasis on strengthening and developing educational services and providing educational opportunities for foreign students of different nationalities and at different stages of education, the center said.

Registration in this school is possible throughout the year through “www.azhar.eg/school”, and to join the school community, the address https://chat.whatsapp.com on WhatsApp is available to those interested, it noted.

The Imam el-Tayeb Quran Memorization and Recitation School is active in three educational stages: pre-university, university, and higher education, and prominent scholars of the Quran and Quranic sciences at Al-Azhar are among the teachers of this school.

This school offers free Quran education. It determines the level of Quran learners and holds annual Quran competitions with the aim of discovering Quranic talents.
