IQNA – Paying attention to memorizing the Book of God is the basis for building a new generation of young people who are capable of carrying the message of goodness, mercy and peace as the essence of the message of Islam to the world.

Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, received a group of foreign students who have enrolled in the Imam Al-Tayeb Quran Memorization and Recitation School at the headquarters of Al-Azhar Islamic Center in Cairo on December 3, 2019.

This is according to Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the head of Egypt’s Al-Azhar Islamic Center, addressing a group of foreign students who have enrolled in the Imam Al-Tayeb Quran Memorization and Recitation School in Cairo earlier this week.

During this meeting, al-Tayeb listened to the students’ outstanding Quranic recitations and praised their mastery of reciting the Holy Quran, which indicates the great efforts of the school’s officials and teachers.

Meanwhile, the students emphasized that the Quran school has made it easy for them to master memorizing the Quran.

At the end of the meeting, the Sheikh of Al-Azhar advised the students to continue their efforts to gain a greater understanding of the meanings and interpretations of the Quran and not to be satisfied with memorizing the verses of the Glorious Quran, so that in the near future they will be ambassadors of Al-Azhar in their countries.
