In its second appearance after 20 years at the book fair, the pavilion has displayed various scholarly and religious books, Egypt Today reported.
Rafiq Abdul-Aziz, an official at the Indonesian ministry of religious affairs, said various scientific books and Braille Qurans for the visually impaired as well as Qurans in sign language are on display at the pavilion.
He said the works in this pavilion are for information and display only and not for sale.
The scholarly books and manuscripts displayed in this pavilion are the result of contributions by Indonesian scholars in Arabic, and various scientific publications and religious books have been well received by audiences and those interested in religious and scientific matters from Egypt and the world, he stated.
Abdulaziz added that the Cairo International Book Fair has witnessed the participation of a large group of young people, especially students, which encourages them to pay more attention to reading and exploring printed books in all their fields of interest.
