“We note these incidents with concern time and again. They show that the situation in Gaza remains fragile, not least because of Saturday’s attack,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Giese told journalists in Berlin.
“For the German government, it is essential that the parties adhere to the commitments they made as part of the 20-point plan,” he added.
The Civil Defense in Gaza said in its latest statement that Israeli attacks on the Strip since dawn on Saturday killed 32 Palestinians, including children and women.
Five more Palestinians, three children and two women, were killed, and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that hit a residential apartment in the Rimal neighborhood of western Gaza City, medical sources told Anadolu.
