IQNA – The Iranian Quranic community emphasized that the main war in the world is still the war over the Quran.

Members of the Iranian Quranic community visited the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA) on Monday, February 9, 2026.

“The message of today’s developments in the world clearly shows that the main war is still the war over the Quran and now is the time for the Quranic discourse to take the field,” the members of the Quranic community said in a statement on the occasion of the Ten-Day Fajr (Dawn) celebrations, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution’s victory.

It was read out at a ceremony held at the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA) on Monday where the Quranic community renewed allegiance with the ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic.

“Half a century ago, in the darkness of the night-worshippers of the world, the dawn of the light of Islam broke out from Iran and promised such a warm and bright dawn that has now blinded the eyes of bats and night-worshippers,” the statement said, referring to the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

“Who would have thought that Imam (Khomeini), with a staff in his hand, would split the Nile in such a way to drown the Pharaoh and Nimrod of time, and drown the (powers) of the world in the heart of his sea?”

Citing verses from the Holy Quran, the statement said the devils have sought to confront the Islamic Revolution and the only way left for the devils to defeat the believers is through a soft war.

Now Satan has become weak and he himself tears the curtains that he had carefully drawn over his ugly face, it said, adding that his soldiers among us burn the Quran, burn mosques, and kill people so that their weakness will not be revealed.

“We, the Quran activists, have understood the naked message of these enemy actions, that there is still a war over the Quran; and we pledge to use all our strength in promoting the Quran in this upcoming month of Ramadan. Our youth and young people have shown in their increasing acceptance of Quranic gatherings, Itikaf rituals, and other activities that they are thirsty for the message of the Quran, and now is also the opportunity to take the field of the Quran.”

The statement went on to say that the ”message of the Quran and the promise of the invincible God for our day is this: The victory and glory of the righteous tree of the revolution is now certain and close, only on the condition that our beloved martyr said: ‘That we do not fear, nor be intimidated…’ And we, Quranic people, have the duty to convey this message of the current era of the Quran to the ears of the faithful and resistant nation of Iran as much as possible.”
