Despite the hardships of life, he remained faithful to the Quranic legacy that his father had left him, according to a report by Ar-Raya.
Bilal carried the burden of an orphan since childhood, but he also carried the light of the Quran with him, a light that saved him from sorrow and opened the doors of hope for him.
Bilal grew up in a middle-class family and his life was going well until fate dealt them a cruel blow with the death of his father. His father was not only a guardian, but also the imam of the mosque, a Quran teacher and a voice that instilled peace in hearts.
His father passed away, leaving behind a great void and a shock that shook the mother and children. But the traces of his faith took deep root in them, and the Quran helped them overcome this calamity.
A student in the presence of his father
Bilal began memorizing the Quran at the age of seven, sitting next to his father in the mosque, absorbing the letters of light from his voice and inscribing the most beautiful moments in his memory.
His father would always tell him: “Bilal, the Quran is with you when people pass away.”
After his father’s death, Bilal stuck to this advice like a lifeline. He continued to memorize the Quran until he completed the entire Quran in two years and was able to recite all Juzes fluently, thus remaining faithful to the greatest legacy his father had left him.
A Kind Hand of Support
A kind hand of support reached Bilal through Qatar Charity and contributed to improving his family’s situation and meeting the needs of his school, enabling him to continue studying and memorizing the Quran without interruption. This support served as a bridge that restored stability and lifted some of the burden of the initial responsibilities that circumstances had imposed on him.

Bilal’s completion of memorizing the Quran was not a fleeting achievement. His behavior changed, his life was illuminated with a new light, and he became calmer, more balanced, and better able to face life’s challenges.
Bilal always says, “The Quran gives me a peace that nothing else has, it protects me from fear and reminds me that God is with me.”
Future aspirations
Bilal dreams of becoming a doctor in the future with the aim of alleviating people’s suffering and helping society. He wants to serve his community and those around him and be a role model for every child who has lost their support system, but has not lost hope.
Messages from the Heart
Bilal tells orphans: “Turn to prayer and the Quran, which are the light of life and a source of emotional support when you lose your loved ones.”
He also sends this message to those who have supported and cared for him: “I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I ask God to place what you do in the scale of your good deeds and include you among the people of Paradise.”
