150 Iranian Qaris, Quran Teachers to Receive Specialized Certificates
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s Supreme Council of Quran announced that 150 qaris and Quran teachers have qualified to receive specialized certificates.
It said they are the ones who performed the best among those taking the specialized examination for Quran reciters and teachers.
There are 130 men and 20 women from 24 provinces of the country who will be given the certificates in May, the council added.
A total of 670 Quran activists had taken the examination this year.
The council also announced the names of those who scored the top points.
The exam is annually held to assess the qualifications of qaris and Quran teachers.
