According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, the Musalla (prayer hall) of the city hosts the exhibition for 15 days.
Mohammad Taheri, organizer of the exhibition said that the cultural event aims to introduce Hussein culture and the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) to the people, particularly the youth.
Various cultural products including posters, books, CDs and DVDs about Ashura incident and Imam Hussein’s (AS) uprising have been put on display at the exhibition.
He noted that the culture of Ashura has been outstandingly developed among the people in Balkh and added that the people increasingly welcome the exhibition every year.
Taheri believed that the interest of the people in such an exhibition is the result of an increase in the people’s awareness about the Hosseini movement.
Women can visit the exhibition for three days on November 15 to 17.
