4th Islamic Conference of Ministers in Charge of Childhood to Convene in Baku
The 4th Islamic Conference of Ministers in charge of Childhood will convene in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, on 11-12 November 2013.
The conference will be held by Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), and in coordination with the OIC General Secretariat, under the high patronage of President of Azerbaijan, Mr Ilham Aliyev.
Prior to the Conference, which will have as a theme “Children and the Challenges of Urbanization in the Islamic World”, a preparatory meeting of senior experts will be held on 8-9 November 2013, to discuss the documents and reports that will be submitted to the Conference, and draw up its agenda.
The Islamic Conference of Ministers in charge of Childhood is one of the specialized Islamic conferences held by ISESCO in the fields of higher education and scientific research, culture, the environment and childhood, in coordination with the OIC General Secretariat and the competent parties in the host countries.
