Arbaeen Pilgrims Call for Avenging Martyred Leader’s Blood

IQNA – A gathering of Arbaeen pilgrims calling for avenging the blood of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei was held on the road between Najaf and Karbala, Iraq.

The gathering witnessed the large presence of the Quranic community of Iran, Iraq, and a group of pilgrims from other Islamic countries.

In this gathering, members of Iran’s Quranic community, together with other pilgrims, held the flags of “Ya Litharat al-Hussein (AS)” and emphasized the necessity of continuing the path of truth, seeking justice, and confronting oppression with unifying slogans.

Participants in this spiritual movement walked the path between pillars 1080 to 1090 on the Najaf-Karbala road in an atmosphere filled with Husseini passion and spirituality.

The gathering included the recitation of divine verses, the remembrance of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), and the renewal of the covenant with the ideals of Ashura.

It demonstrated the solidarity of the Islamic Ummah in the largest religious congregation in the world.

Those present at this gathering considered the Arbaeen procession a manifestation of the continuation of the Ashura movement and a symbol of resistance against oppression, and emphasized that the culture of Ashura is an inspiration for the free nations of the world on the path to achieving justice and human dignity.

On the sidelines of this gathering, Quranic activists and figures, referring to the deep connection between the culture of the Quran and the school of Imam Hussein (AS), described Arbaeen as an opportunity to promote divine teachings, strengthen the unity of the Islamic Ummah, and renew the covenant with the ideals of the Quran and the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
