A Quran scholar urged that the Quranic education procedures should be reviewed.

Speaking to IQNA, Mohammad Reza Sotudenia said the processes and methods used in Quran instruction in the country needs to be evaluated.

He said assessing the number of teenagers and youth who learn the Quran and the Quranic talents and capabilities of the youth and teenagers will be helpful in developing Quranic education.

Sotudenia noted that Quranic institutes and centers across the country have carried out good activities in the Quranic field but there is still much more to do in this field.

Director of the Quran and Hadith Department of the University of Isfahan further said that all of the country’s youth and teenagers should be attracted to reading and learning the Quran.

He hoped that with endeavors by the Quranic officials, all people will move toward getting acquainted with the Book of God and have motivation for partaking in Quranic activities.
