Martyred Leader’s Message to Western Students Showed His Global Vision, Iranian MP Says
Speaking to IQNA, Esmaeil Kowsari said public calls for seeking justice over martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and other resistance figures reflect a continued demand for accountability and resistance against foreign aggression.
said the United States and Israel committed grave crimes that have angered not only Iranians but “free nations worldwide.”
Kowsari criticized international institutions, saying the United Nations “has lost effectiveness” and failed even to condemn the incident. He argued that bodies claiming to defend human rights have become “tools in the hands of criminals.”
He said the pursuit of justice for the Leader is a national and popular demand, asserting that the Leader devoted his life to serving the Iranian people and acted within legal and religious frameworks.
According to Kowsari, calls for retaliation are grounded in both Islamic jurisprudence and international legal principles.
The lawmaker said the demand extends beyond Iran and the country's judiciary has begun international legal proceedings with the help of foreign lawyers.
Kowsari described recent memorial ceremonies for martyred Leader as a show of unity and strength, saying they conveyed that Iran would not abandon the Leader’s path.
He contrasted the path of Iran’s revolutionary leaders with other world leaders, arguing that they lived modestly and prioritized public welfare.
He also pointed to regional reactions, saying the funeral processions demonstrated broad support across the “axis of resistance,” and that participation would have been larger if conditions allowed.
Kowsari said the martyred Leader’s messages to students in Europe and the United States reflected his global outlook, and that widespread public mourning showed continued trust in Iran’s leadership.
He stressed that Iranians have renewed allegiance to the current Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, and will continue on the same path.
