He made the remark on the fifth night of Muharram at the gathering of mourners in the southern suburb of Beirut, adding that the resistance movement will refer to the Faqihs and sources of emulation before entering the battlefield, Al-Mayadin news network reported.
Nasrallah further underlined the need for commemorating the martyrs as “it will affect our life and the life of our children”.
He praised the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their homeland and said vicarious martyrdom operations began with the operation of Ahmed Qasir which put Lebanon on the path of victory and the Zionist regime on the path of defeat.
Nasrallah also referred to the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), saying that Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions appeared in Karbala with peaceful hearts and bright faces as they believed that what they would meet was moving to the eternal, divine bliss.
“The Islamic Resistance martyrs had the same experience of tranquil transition from the world of bale to that of the God's felicity,” he added.
“Based on this understanding, Imam Hussein, his companions and all our martyrs could encounter death courageously.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, the secretary general of Hezbollah regretted that some views and standpoints are mentioned in the name of Islam while they have no basis in the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
