Hojat-ol-Islam Ezzuddin Rezanezhad, secretary of the congress, said that the program will be addressed by Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani, Iran's Judiciary Chief and Ali Jannati, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
He stated that the congress was planned by the representative of the Supreme Leader in the province in 2010 in cooperation with the General Office of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Mazandaran.
In line with the guidelines of the Supreme Leader, the program was then planned to be held at an international level in cooperation with Al-Mustafa International University.
Collection of thesis about Ibn-e Shahr Ashoob published at international centers and identification of the works of the scholar translated and published in different countries and organization of pre-meetings of the congress have been among the activities of the secretariat of the international program.
Specialized commissions will also be held by the secretariat from November 20 to 23 in Sari and the holy city of Qom.
Following the sessions in Sari, participants at the congress from Iran and other countries will gather at Dar-ol-Shefa Higher Education School in the holy city of Qom to visit Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli.
Considering the importance of the thoughts of Ibn-e Shahr Ashoob, who was also well known as Shaykh Al-Taifa Thani, at seminary schools all over the world, there have been many papers sent to the secretariat of the congress from different parts of Europe, Asia and Africa.
The secretariat has digitalized the papers and published some of the works of the scholar such as a book titled “Manaqib” and “Mutashabih Al-Quran”.
From among 116 papers sent for the secretariat, 44 ones were selected to be published in the collection of papers of the congress.
The collection, two volumes of which have been published so far, will be granted to the foreign guests of the congress.
