Al-Mustafa University’s Quran-Hadith Olympiad Kicks off in Qom

The 19th edition of Al-Mustafa International University’s Quran and Hadith Olympiad was officially launched in Qom.

A message by the chancellor of the university Hojat-ol-Islam, Ali Reza A’arafi was read at the opening ceremony, held on Wednesday morning, IQNA’s Qom branch reported.

In his message, Hojat-ol-Islam A’arafi said the Al-Mustafa University is a leading institution in Islamic and religious knowledge in the world.

Quranic figure Hojat-ol-Islam Mohsen Qara’ati addressed the opening ceremony saying that attention to the Holy Quran should not be limited to classes or competitions and festivals but that the teachings of the Holy Book should be used in all aspects of life.

The international Olympiad is underway in 12 categories with the participation of thousands of seminary students.
