Speaking in a meeting with Hossein Amirabdollahian, Iran’s deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah underlined that the cruel actions of the enemies will have no effects on the determination of the followers of Karbala, Al-Manar news network reported.
Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi was also present in the meeting, which took place in Beirut on Wednesday.
Nasrallah said the 34-year-long history of the Islamic Revolution of Iran has proven that such actions by the enemies (the terrorist bombings) will not weaken the resolve of the followers of the path of Karbala.
He said these inhumane acts of terrorism have further disclosed the nature of certain groups that resort to every means to fight the path of the truth and justice.
Amirabdollahian in this meeting referred to the twin terrorist bombings as an indication of the inability of the Zionist regime and its cronies and Takfiri groups to stand against the resistance front.
He pointed out the successes and accomplishments of the resistance front in all scenes and said martyrdom is the desire of all followers of the school of Ashura.
He further underlined the need for the Lebanese government to make efforts to identify and bring to justice those behind the terrorist attacks.
The two terrorist blasts outside Iran’s diplomatic mission in the southern neighborhood of Janah in Beirut left at least 25 people dead, including six Iranian nationals, on Tuesday.
Reports say over 150 others were also injured in the terrorist attacks. The death toll is expected to rise, as many of the wounded are in critical condition.
