Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made the remark in a telephone conversation with the Iranian embassy officials in Beirut, in which he also extended his condolences over the martyrdom of Iran’s cultural attaché and four embassy guards during the terrorist attack, Al-Nashra daily reported.
Nasrallah stressed that this crime will not remain unpunished.
At least 25 people, including Iran’s cultural attaché to Beirut Hojat-ol-Islam Ebrahim Ansari, were killed and more than 160 injured in two explosions that struck near the Iranian Embassy in the southern neighborhood of Janah in the Lebanese capital on November 19.
Lebanon’s security forces have identified one of the two suicide bombers who carried out the Tuesday terrorist attack.
The man has been identified as Moin Abu-Adhahr from the southern city of Sidon who had ties with Takfiri and extremist groups in the city.
The LBC TV network has reported that Abu-Adhahr is a close relative of Sidon’s Salafaist Sheikh Ahmed Al-Asir.
