We’ll Put ‘Labayk Ya Hussein (AS)’ on Table

In response to the military option (of the West), we will put the slogan of Labayk Ya Hussein (AS) on the table, said a Quran interpreter and grand Source of Emulation.

Addressing the international conference of Ibn Shahrashoub in Qom on Saturday, Grand Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli referred to the nuclear talks between Iran and the G5+1 (permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) and said, “I pray for the Iranian negotiators and believe that the talks’ conclusion will be in Iran’s favor, but our culture is the culture of Labayk Ya Hussein (AS) (we are ready to help you Oh Hussein!).”

He regretted that the West, that led 70 to 80 million people to death in the two world wars are still beating the drums of war and yet consider countries like Iran as warmongering.

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli later touched on the services of Ibn Shahrashoub Mazandarani  to Islam, describing him as a great Shia scholar who served the Quran and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) teachings.

He said Ibn Shahrashoub stood up against a seditious current that had been formed against the Islamic culture and prevented the spread of deviated ideas.

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli also praised the Quran interpretation activities of Ibn Shahrashoub, describing these activities as amazing.
