Int’l Course on Judgment Skills for Quran Contests in Saudi Arabia

The 4th edition of an international educational course on judgment skills for Quran contests is being held from November 23 in Saudi Arabia.


According to Al-Riyadh newspaper, the course has been planned by the organizing committee of the 35th international Quran memorization, recitation and interpretation contest which began today, November 24, in the holy city of Makkah.



Mansour bin Mohammad Al-Sameeh, Secretary General of the contest, said that the course aims to promote the skills of the jury panel of Quran contests, get the Quran experts acquainted with advanced principles of the judgment and develop the judgment process of Quranic competitions through issuing special rules and regulations.



He added that the course will continue for 5 days with participation of representatives from 20 countries who attend the 30-hour training in morning and evening classes.



A group of eminent judges of Quran contests instruct the course and the participants will be granted certificates by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Dissemination and Guidance.
