Ignoring Quran’s Teachings Cause of Humanity’s Miseries

A grand source of emulation referred to disregarding the Quran’s teachings as the reason behind all of humanity’s miseries.

Speaking is his Quran interpretation class held at Qom’s Azam Mosque, grand Ayatollah Hossein Vahid-Khorasani also said that all humans need a guide in order to reach salvation.

He said salvation is what mankind is looking for and in order to reach it needs to have a guide who has been guided himself and does not want any reward for providing guidance for humanity.

Grand Ayatollah Vahid-Khorasani was interpreting verse 21 of Surah Yasin in the Holy Quran “Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided”.

He underlined that following a guide is something based on wisdom and that the guide must have the two characteristics mentioned in this verse.
