Representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Iran urged that the Muslim Ummah needs to contemplate the Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh.

Speaking on Thursday at the Imam Sajjad (AS) International Conference, Nasser Abu Sharif said in order to stay away from the Fitnas (seditions) underway against Shias and Sunnis in the region, the Muslim Ummah should reflect over the book (which is a collection of Imam Sajjad’s (AS) supplications).

He referred to the role of worshipping in the elevation of human thought and cognizance and noted that Imam Sajjad (AS) was known as Zain-al-Abdein (the adornment or the pride of worshippers).

Abu Sharif also referred to Hadiths by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) about supplication, saying that supplication is the essence of worshipping God.

He underlined the need for contemplating the Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh and said Muslims need to use the teachings of this book in their interactions.

Elsewhere in his remarks, representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Iran said that  that organizing such conferences are needed to promote acquaintance with the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).

The Imam Sajjad (AS) International Conference is underway in the southern city of Bandarabbas.
