New Vol. of Quran Encyclopedia to Be Published

The 13th volume of Quran Encyclopedia will be published and presented at the international Quran exhibition in Tehran next year.


This is according to Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Khorasani, director of Quranic Encyclopdias Group of the Center for Culture and Teachings of the Holy Quran, who told IQNA that the volume includes basic and authentic information about Quranic sciences, teachings and signs made available for Quran researchers and scholars.



The entries in the collection have been alphabetically listed and all of the viewpoints about each of the themes have been included along with references and reliable sources.



He said that the entire encyclopedia will be completed in 30 volumes, 11 volumes of which have been published so far.



The 12th volume has been sent for Bustan-e Ketab Institute to be published and the volume 13 is being edited, he added.



The director noted that the previous volumes of the collection have been very well received and the center plans to publish one or two volumes of the encyclopedia every year.
