Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement in a statement slammed the recent attacks by the Zionist regime on Gaza.

It said the Israeli air strikes against Gaza were yet another indication of the aggressive nature of the occupying regime.

Hezbollah also condemned the silence of Arab countries, the Arab League and world bodies over what is happening in Gaza, saying that the silence provides the opportunity for the Zionist regime to continue its aggressions.

The statement further underlined the role of Arab nations in supporting the Palestinian people.

The Zionist regime’s warplanes bombarded the Gaza Strip earlier this week, killing at least two Palestinians, including a three-year-old girl, and injuring several others.

Another Palestinian was also wounded by Israeli troops in southern Gaza last week.

The Zionist regime’s military frequently targets Palestinians along the border with Gaza, which has remained literally cut off from the outside world by a crippling Israeli blockade since 2007.

The siege has turned the densely-populated coastal sliver, home to some 1.7 million Palestinians, into the largest open-air prison in the world.
